Short answer: we do

Who offers upfront pricing for excavation in Jacksonville, FL?

Go look for a Jacksonville excavation company with prices on its website. We did, before building ours. You’ll find phone numbers, photos of machines and “call for a free quote.” Numbers, almost never. Ours are below and on the full cost guide.

Our published ranges, sampled

All fifteen rows, plus what moves each job inside its range, are on the full cost guide. When the table changes, it changes there first.

What counts as upfront pricing, and what doesn’t

Excavation has honest variation in it. Water, access and haul distance really do move a job by thousands of dollars, so a company promising one flat rate sight unseen is guessing or padding. Upfront pricing means three concrete things:

  • Ranges you can see before the visit. Published on the website, not recited on the phone after they size you up.
  • A quote with named line items. Machine, days, spoil plan, water handling, haul-off count. A lump sum hides the levers.
  • A photo-first change order rule. The number only moves for a hidden condition the crew can show you: a photo of the buried concrete, the water in the trench, the stump field under the brush.

Any contractor in town can work this way. If you like a company that doesn’t publish numbers, ask them to put their range and its line items in writing before the deposit. The good ones will. The questions worth asking page has the exact wording.

Why we publish when nobody else does

Published ranges cost us the occasional job to a lowball bid, and win us every customer who wants to check the math before signing. We priced that trade and took it. At the walk-through we point at the row your job prices from, name the site factors that apply, and write the number down. You can hold the quote against our own website, which is the point. How much your specific job costs is covered with worked examples on what excavation costs in Jacksonville.
